Finally, the Call of duty The League has announced its final event for 2021, including the start date, venue and ticket sales for the tournament with a prize pool of $2,150,000 USD. The 2021 CDL Championship will take place August 19-22 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.

Accompanying this announcement is another piece of news where viewers will be able to experience the fifth major phase in person, which makes us believe that the final – which will take place 3 weeks later – will also allow access to fans.

How, where and when?

The tournament weekend begins August 19 with the Call of Duty League Playoffs. In this two-day tournament, we will see the top 8 teams from the regular season. These eight teams will face each other for the right to advance to the tournament Sunday, where the winning league will be crowned.

For its part, the University of Southern California owns and operates the Galen Center, where the tournament will be held. The venue is known for being the host of the university’s men’s basketball team and has the capacity to host up to 10,000 people. We don’t know yet how many fans will be able to attend the CDL, but they will likely cut the previous number a bit as a health measure. Tickets will go on sale on July 16, so we should know more details by that date.

The $2,150,000 prize pool for the 2021 CDL Championship will be split between the top 3 teams of the tournament.

  • 1st place: 1,500,000 USD
  • Second place: $650,000 USD
  • Third place: $300,000 USD

Don’t miss the Call of Duty League games, which will be broadcast exclusively on their YouTube channel. Games start each day of the tournament at 11:00 AM Mexico time.
