Nintendo surprised everyone by revealing the Switch OLED this morning. For a long time there was talk of a stronger revision of the hybrid system; However, the company has not commented on improvements in this section for the next model of its system.

For this reason, many are wondering why Nintendo decided to plan to release a console like the Switch OLED, which includes improvements to its screen, more internal memory, as well as tweaks that make it more comfortable.

Doug Bowser, president of Nintendo of America, spoke briefly about it and explained why they’re releasing the Switch OLED. In addition, Nintendo has shared some pictures of the console to make players fall in love.

Why is Nintendo Switch releasing OLED, its new console review?

Through a statement, Bowser explained what Switch OLED will offer gamers for a better gaming experience. Nintendo currently has the standard console model on the market, as well as the Switch Lite for mobile gaming.

The company decided to bet on another model of the hybrid console to improve some features of the existing 1.1 system, but without necessarily making internal changes to segment its user base.

Bowser explained that Switch OLED is a system that will optimize all game modes for the original system. This will be possible in part for its new display, which will provide more vibrant colors and sharper contrast in both laptop and desktop modes.

On the other hand, the dock will now have a built-in LAN port, which will improve the Internet experience when playing on the TV.

The manager said that the goal of Switch OLED is to offer more options to its customers, who will now be able to choose a controller based on their needs. The Switch OLED will not replace previous models, as it will coexist with and share accessories, as well as games.

“With the addition of this new model to the Nintendo Switch family of systems, people have an additional option to choose the system that best suits the gaming experience they want, whether it is a Nintendo Switch (OLED model), Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite,” Bowser said.
