Nintendo recently shared a Corporate Social Responsibility report, where it talks about its global operations and provides various details about the company in general. One of them was the total number of workers in different regions of the world.
This information can be seen on a page of the document, where Mario is also noted, which shows an overview with a map of each of the Japanese company’s offices.

This data confirms the number of employees of Nintendo with a cut at the end of March this year. In addition, it can be seen that those in Tokyo have 27 subsidiary companies and a total of 6,574 workers.
In terms of regions, Asia is the place that clearly has the highest number of employees with 2,498 (2011 men and 487 women)

On the other hand, Nintendo of America ranked second with 1,256 people (798 men and 458 women). In contrast, Nintendo Europe has 901 employees (558 men and 343 women).
Finally, the small Nintendo headquarters in Australia is the only one with more women, with 47 in its ranks and just 44 men, for a total of 91 employees.
