Super Mario World is coming to another board game from Hasbro

Nintendo and Hasbro teamed up to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. Thanks to this, players were able to get Jenga and Monopoly themed characters from the franchise.

To the surprise of some, that collaboration isn’t over yet, as Nintendo and Hasbro today revealed another board game on the way. This is The Game of Life: Super Mario Edition, which will be available sooner than you think.

What will The Game of Life: Super Mario Edition look like and when will it debut?

Nintendo and Hasbro Gaming want to pamper all game lovers Super Mario Bros.So, they decided to release a special edition of The Game of Life. The game will keep its normal rules, but will allow you to play with the characters Mario, Luigi, Peach and Yoshi.

As you can imagine, the theme of the game will change drastically, as you can enjoy many mini-games to collect power-ups, make allies and battle the chariot. Another big difference is that Hasbro left the game’s linear experience behind and gave it an open world.

“This map is not linear. Instead, it is an open world experience that gives players the ability to discover items, collect partners, and try different strategies to win the game.”

The Game of Life: Super Mario Edition will include a franchise-themed map, special cards, coins, and characters like Rosalina, Donkey Kong, Toad, and Waluigi.

This product will debut this year, exactly on August 1. It will be offered for $28.49 USD. Its release in all regions has not been confirmed. Below you can see how it looks.
