Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Bethesda Softworks and MachineGames are preparing for a new Indiana Jones match. If this concept caught your eye, you should know that it could have happened a long time ago, as Bethesda executive producer and lead creator Todd Howard suggested to George Lucas 12 years ago.
In a recent interview with telegraphTodd Howard noted that he was «very excited» about the project Indiana Jones MachineGames is evolving. Partly because it’s a dream come true, since 2009 he’s been looking for a way to make this project a reality.
“I think I originally suggested it [George] Lucas in 2009 and ever since then I’ve been trying to find a way to make it happen.
Unfortunately, Howard did not share any other details about it. That’s why we don’t know what George Lucas’ reaction to Howard’s suggestion was. However, the bottom line is that Howard now has a chance to develop the Indy game he’s been dreaming of for so long.

Howard thinks MachineGames is doing a great job
What fans will love is knowing that Howard says MachineGames is doing a great job on his Indiana Jones project.
“I think the work that MachineGames does, they are great developers and storytellers. When I started talking to them about it, I knew they would fit into this project really well. We had the opportunity to speak with Lucas and Disney about it and they were very excited.
I really liked it Indiana JonesBut I never thought I’d have a chance to make a game. You will hear more about this in the future. Howard explained that the MachineGames team is the best in the world for making this game and they are doing an exceptional job.
