Counter-Strike star Kjaerbye retires

Danish player from CS: GO Main Winner and MVP Marcus «Kjaerbye» Kjærby, retired today from counter strike.

He announced on Twitter: «Time to say goodbye to video games as a professional gamer counter strike. I am writing this with great regret, but I no longer have the hunger and determination to compete at the highest level. This game has been a huge part of my life for the past 10 years and I feel like it’s time to look for new horizons and new opportunities. Futuristic functionality can be offered in-game or out of the game. Time will tell.»

At only twenty-three years old, he left the scene CS: GO The player who was once part of Astralis, the team with which he won the ELEAGUE Major in Atlanta, back in the cold January of 2017. At that event he was named Player of the Year. Despite playing for the best Danish team in CS: GOKjaerbye chose to switch to North in 2018, the No. 1 competitor for Astralis. Kjerbai added, «It was a wonderful roller coaster that gave me so much more than I could have imagined when I started playing video games. To this day, much of this adventure still seems surreal. Like any other career, it brought many ups and downs and all of them made me stronger, and in a way, It made me the person I am today.”
