We only have a few hours before the start of July, and if you’re a player in Pokemon GOYou’re definitely looking forward to the 2021 Pokémon GO Fest celebration. This celebration will take place in the middle of the month, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be anything to do until then, but Niantic is preparing for plenty of events and some surprises.
The developer shared a calendar of July events today and it will be a month with loads of content. From Thursday, July 1 to August 1, players will be able to find Rufflet as a Research Achievement and a free Raid Pass, as well as double your experience points (XP) for achievements thanks to the Discovery Season.
Before you know it, July is going to start with a lot of content in its first week. On July 1, Bedov will continue their conquest to celebrate Bedov Day and on Saturday, July 3 they will continue the fun with Teepeg Community Day.

The unique Pokémon Hour will return in July
In addition, Niantic revealed that the iconic Pokémon watch will be available again every Tuesday starting at 6:00 PM (local time). During this period, as you know, the main Pokemon will appear in the wild frequently and there will be special bonuses. We leave you with them below.
- Tuesday, July 7 – Bulbasaur with double XP bonus for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday July 14th – Charmander with Double Bonus Candy for catching Pokémon.
- Tuesday, July 21 – Squirtle with a double candy bonus for moving Pokémon.
- Tuesday, July 28 – Natu with a bonus of double the experience points for developing Pokémon.

There will be surprises in the raids
The interesting thing is, as we mentioned, the raids will receive an update and it looks like Niantic is preparing for a surprise related to this.
With the raids back to normal after the Bedov stampede, Deoxys in Defense Form will return to 5-star raids on July 1 and leave on Friday, July 16.
Upon his departure, Mewtwo will take over and depart on July 23. We remind you that within one day of Pokémon GO Fest 2021, all the legendary available in the game will also appear, including the very rare Dialga and Palkia. During the second day of this event, Mewtwo will appear as a GO Fighting League encounter (one only and for players ranked 20 or higher).
For Mega Raids, Mega Houndoom will appear from July 1 to July 16, Mega Gengar from July 16 to 23, and Mega Charizard from July 23 to August 6.
Of course, Raid Time will return (every Wednesday starting at 6:00 PM local time) this month and the featured Pokémon will be Deoxys Defense Form (July 7 and 14) and Mewtwo (July 21).
What’s even more interesting is that Niantic predicted that after July 23, an unidentified Pokémon would appear in the raids and that it would be available on Raid Hour on July 28.
There will be a lot of events and surprises in Pokemon GO During the month of July
Are you excited for Pokémon GO Fest 2021? Well, you won’t have to wait long to start preparing for the maximum celebration, as there will be an event to celebrate the 5th anniversary from Tuesday 6 to Thursday 15 July, we will know more about it soon.
There will also be a new GO Battle Night on Sunday, July 11th from 6:00 PM to 11:59 PM (local time) and during this event you can play up to 100 matches and get a Stardust Triple for each victory. Please note that this bonus will not accrue with the double Stardust bonus that is already temporarily active.
