All gamers of the past year remember the Game Boy as the console that demonstrated the potential of video games in a handheld setting. Many years have passed since its launch, however, it has just been announced that a developer wants to add another game to its catalog.

The game in question is about Planet Leap, from the work of developer Alex Watkinson, who makes up his own Gamebow studio. Ltd, with the task of creating different titles for the old Nintendo console.

To help him accomplish his mission, Watkinson launched a Kickstarter campaign that appears to be doing well in his fundraising and hopes to get what it takes to keep his plan running smoothly.

Regarding Planet LeapThe developer explains that it is a complete game with at least 72 levels spread over 8 planets, and that it will be based on other classic games:

“I am an indie developer working on his first title لقب Planet Leap, an all-new physical game for the Nintendo Game Boy and Game Boy Color. Planet Leap Reminiscent of classic Japanese Game Boy games from the late ’80s and early ’90s, such as Mario Land s Kirby«.
