Did you grow up with the first PlayStation and classic horror games like alone in the dark? You’ll be glad to know that an indie game inspired by these kinds of titles will be released for PC via Steam sometime in 2022.
Tartarus key It will put you in the shoes of Alex Young, a young woman who wakes up locked inside a mysterious mansion and discovers that a network of cameras is watching her. You’ll soon realize that she’s not the only one who’s been caught. It will be in your hands to discover the secrets of the mansion and why Alex is there.
On Tartarus key You will have to solve many puzzles to advance, while finding more captured people, whose survival will depend on your actions and decisions. Your only help will be an unknown voice coming from a portable radio.
The game focuses on puzzles rather than combat, but it is still a tense, terrifying and atmospheric adventure. The developers mention that they got ideas from how escape rooms work.
The psychological movie will have 3 different endings, so you will have to explore the mansion completely to unlock them all.
