Microsoft has long announced the arrival of Xbox Cloud Gaming to consoles. The company’s initial goal is that users can try out Xbox Game Pass titles without downloading them, so they won’t spend their time waiting for games to be ready at the risk that it’s not the experience they were looking for.
This initiative has another ambitious goal: Xbox One users can play through the cloud games that won’t be released on console because they are titles designed for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
With this, the company wants to prevent the Xbox One from becoming an obsolete console in the long run. According to the details, the arrival of Xbox Cloud Gaming to consoles will occur sometime in 2021.
Once the above becomes possible, Xbox One users will be able to enjoy titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator And the complete catalog of next-gen games without the need for a new console.
At the moment, there is no set date for this to happen, but it is expected to happen by the end of the year. In addition to being available on mobile phones and consoles, Xbox Cloud Gaming will soon make the leap to PC, as it will be compatible with multiple browsers.
