We have very good news for all anime fans, especially for horror fans who are waiting for a new show, a new trailer has been shared where more details about Uzumaki.
This Adult Swim anime is based on the terrifying horror manga by legendary author Junji Ito, who published the work in the late 1990s and which will now give new audiences a chance to enjoy his work.
Hiroshi Nagahama, director of the anime, shared a message to introduce the new trailer:
«I wanted to share just a glimpse of the beginning of the first episode. There are many scary and ugly scenes that I hope to share, but we don’t want to reveal too much,» Naghama said.

It is worth noting that Uzumaki Written and illustrated by Junji Ito himself, it tells the story of the citizens of Korizo Chu, a fictional city that suffers from a supernatural curse with some sort of spirals.
The anime was announced in 2019 and was scheduled for release in 2020, however, the production faced many problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, the director clarifies that the series (consisting of 4 chapters only) will be released in October 2022.
