CD Projekt RED opens a new studio in Canada
Through their social networks, CD Projekt RED shared a post to spread the news about the new studio official. The company will now have offices in Vancouver, Canada, after months of negotiations.
As we told you, the plans were revealed in March, after CD Projekt RED acquired Digital Scapes Studios. If the name of the Canadian study mentioned doesn’t sound familiar, you should know that it helped develop Cyberpunk 2077 movie.
CD Projekt RED Vancouver will work on the company’s upcoming games with teams from Krakow and Wroclaw in Poland. The new offices will be led by creator Marcin Chaudy.
“This is a great opportunity for Canadian developers to participate in the incredible intellectual property of CD Projekt RED and CD Projekt RED to tap into Canada’s large talent pool and create games,” said the director.

For his part, Bowie Zodny, head of production at the company, revealed that they worked for 3 years with Digital Scapes, so they paid attention to their abilities and the talents of its members.
“In addition to contributing to our projects, the new team will help us improve our technologies and expand our efficiencies in this regard. We believe the massive Digital Scapes team is the perfect foundation for building CD Projekt RED Vancouver,” Zawodny commented.
